How's this for the shortest, most jam-packed tour schedule ever? Toronto songwriter KASHKA is planning to do a tour of her home city, and this will consist of 10 sets at nine different locations in just a single day.
This stunt is called "Open Air TO," and it's taking place on May 31. It's co-presented by the local car-sharing service AutoShare, and it will see the former Forest City Lovers member travelling around the city to play a string of intimate sets.
All of the gigs are acoustic, all-ages and free. The fun gets underway at 10 a.m. and runs into the evening. See the schedule below.
Although the musician also known as Kat Burns typically plays a style of music she refers to as "folkpoptronica," her Bones EP from back in the fall featured an acoustic sound that's more in line with these planned performances. Stream Bones at the bottom of this page.
