Judas Priest

Live Vengeance '82

BY Chris AyersPublished Feb 19, 2007

For those yearning for the good ol’ days of metal when leather and spikes were the norm, Judas Priest are just the ticket. Previously released on VHS, and included as part of the Metalogy box set, Live Vengeance shows the band at the apex of their career, supporting 1982’s breakthrough album, Screaming for Vengeance. This Memphis stadium show highlights the band’s back catalogue ("Breaking the Law,” "Sinner,” "Victim of Changes,” "Living After Midnight”) while giving ultra-exposure to the then-new tunes ("Bloodstone,” "Riding on the Wind,” Devil’s Child,” "The Hellion/Electric Eye”). An up-to-date discography is the only bonus, which is but a pittance for those hell bent for leather.
