The Lemonheads are set to deliver the new covers album Varshons 2 next year, and today they are once again giving us a better idea of what to expect. This time it's via a cover of cult indie heroes the Bevis Frond.
Evan Dando and co. have taken on the U.K. band's track "Old Man Blank," originally from their 1988 album Triptych. To hear the results, press play below.
Varshons 2 — a follow-up to the 2009 covers album Varshons — is set for release on February 8 via Fire Records. As previously reported, the upcoming record hears the Lemondheads putting their own takes on tracks by the likes of Yo La Tengo, Lucinda Williams, Florida Georgia Line, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds and the Eagles, among others.
