The Lemonheads Play Toronto on 'It's a Shame About Ray' 30th Anniversary Tour

BY Calum SlingerlandPublished Aug 9, 2022

The Lemonheads celebrated 30 years of their fifth studio album It's a Shame About Ray in June, and after a deluxe reissue and a tour of Europe, the band will bring the anniversary celebrations to North America this fall.

In November and December, Evan Dando and co. will play 24 dates on the continent with support from Bass Drum of Death, On Being an Angel and Juliana Hatfield — here's hoping he keeps his wallet close. At each stop, the Lemonheads will play It's a Shame About Ray in its entirety

The itinerary includes a lone Canadian stop in Toronto, taking place November 18 at the Phoenix Concert Theatre alongside Rusty and the Nils.

Tickets for the Toronto show go on sale to the public August 12 at 10 a.m. ET, with further details available via Showclix.

The Lemonheads' most recently released covers set Varshons 2 in 2019, a decade on from previous LP Varshons.
