Following the release of posthumous collection Black Velvet last year, a new single from late soul star Charles Bradley has surfaced.
Titled "Lucifer," the song arrives through Innit Recordings and can be heard in the player below. The song finds him addressing Barack Obama at the end of his presidency, singing, "Obama, you've done what you had to do / Change the world."
"Charles knew what he wanted to say and he said it quickly," co-writer and co-producer James Levy said in a a statement. "He wore his heart on his sleeve. A true singer."
Black Velvet was Bradley's final album. He passed away in 2017 at age 68.
