Just one year after their fantastic debut, Street Horrrsing, noisy British electro duo Fuck Buttons have announced the details of their sophomore album. Titled Tarot Sport, the record is due from the good folks at ATP Recordings on October 12 in the UK.
While no tracklisting or North American release date have been confirmed, the album is said to have seven songs. We also know it was recorded with Primal Scream/Beth Orton producer Andrew Weatherall. In a press release, the band said, "I think it sounds a lot thicker than our previous work... Our brains kind of went into meltdown."
In a post on their MySpace page, Fuck Buttons made it clear that they were pumped for the record, saying, "This album is the most exciting document that we've produced thus far in our lives, for sure."
Tarot Sport will be preceded by the release of the "Surf Solar" single in mid-September.
