In a year where he's rolled out some new singles in addition to more live recordings, Four Tet has now announced that a new EP
Titled Anna Painting, the three-track release will arrive through the producer's own Text Records.
Pre-orders point to an August 21 release date, while Four Tet confirmed on Twitter that the effort would arrive in record stores this week.
As Four Tet writes on the physical edition's back cover, the EP was made in collaboration with painter Anna Liber Lewis.
"The collaboration unfolded over several months. We worked in tandem from conversation and correspondence. I made music and Anna responded to it with drawings and paintings, apart from the last track, which I made after having seen her work," Four Tet wrote.

Four Tet's last album was 2017's New Energy. While he has yet to announce a follow-up, he tweeted in March that he was "working on the new record. Got some tracks finished now."
