Fetty Wap is currently one of the hottest rappers in the world, having released his anticipated self-titled album just yesterday. It seems that he has been involved in a serious motorcycle accident, although he doesn't appear to be too badly hurt.
According to reports, the incident occurred in Fetty's hometown of Paterson, NJ. An eyewitness told TMZ that Fetty tried passing a vehicle on his motorcycle when he collided with another vehicle that was oncoming.
Various photos from the scene show Fetty being assisted by paramedics on the sidewalk next to his fallen motorcycle. He was apparently responsive and was rushed to a nearby hospital. Pitchfork points out that DJ Akademiks posted a series of photos from the scene on Twitter. See those tweets below (although be forewarned that it's rather unpleasant to see photos of the crash).
Luckily, it seems that Fetty's doing fine, since Hip Hop Facts points out that Fetty's DJ posted a photo from the hospital that shows the rapper sitting up and appearing to be alert.
