Fans Call for Taylor Swift and Boyfriend Travis Kelce to Collab After He Shares New Christmas Song

'Kelce's Version'

You know what they say: keep your friends close and your romantic partners who you're attempting to team up with musically even closer. Travis Kelce apparently knows that as well as anyone, since his extremely public romance with Taylor Swift has quickly resulted in the NFL star dropping music of his own.

While waiting by the phone to get tapped for a Taylor's Version feature, Kelce is easing into the music world by collaborating with his brother Jason on a Christmas song.

The track, a take on the Pogues' "Fairytale of New York," is part of a tradition that Jason's Philadelphia Eagles established last year — making a holiday album for local charities.

"They're like, 'You know, I think this would do really well if it was you and Trav,'" Jason explained of bringing Kelce on board. "It's like two people fighting but then they really love each other. It kind of works really good for our relationship."

Like the rest of the Philly Special Christmas album, "Fairytale of Philadelphia" is produced by the War on Drugs drummer Charlie Hall.

Jason kicks off the singing with his booming voice befitting a six-foot-three, 295-pound human, before breaking down in tears, equally befitting a six-foot-three, 295-pound human.

Kelce then launches into his part, which is very sea shanty-esque — and to the surprise of many, he actually sounds great. Swifties on TikTok have even labelled him an honourary Disney prince and called for a collab between him and Swift.

"I hereby petition for a Swift/Kelce Christmas album," one commenter wrote.

"'Taylor's Version' ft. Travis Kelce in the works?" suggested another.
