New migration pattern just dropped? Mere hours after Brooklyn rockers Geese announced that their guitarist, Foster Hudson, was leaving the band, Connecticut jam band Goose have announced the departure of their drummer, Ben Atkind.

The band likewise broke the birds-of-a-feather news by posting a statement on social media, writing, "There has been a lot going on these days, and we'd like to take a moment to address a change happening within the band. Over the last few months, we've had some really difficult internal conversations that have unfortunately resulted in Ben's departure."

Goose explained that Atkind leaving wasn't a result of "fighting, drama or malicious intent on any end" and that it simply "wasn't the right fit anymore," adding, "We all love Ben very much and want nothing but the best for him. He is a world class drummer, and we can't wait to watch and support his future endeavours."

The drummer was a founding member of the band, which formed in 2014 between him,  singer/guitarist Rick Mitarotonda and bassist Trevor Weekz.
