Fake Tears

"Night Box" (video)

While Vancouver synth pop duo Fake Tear's Nightshifting track "Night Box" warns that there's but "one last chance to be entranced," they'll actually be giving fans plenty of opportunities to catch them live this fall. Ahead of their West Coast tour, though, they've set the song up with a new music video.

The project's Larissa Loyva and Elisha May Rembold are first captured prepping themselves for a big night in front of a bathroom mirror, but the vid gets a little freaky from there. If you want to see the pair steering a Porsche through an intergalactic backdrop rife with floating gloves, and then spinning themselves out on a dancefloor, you can do just that down below.

As previously reported, Fake Tears take part in Mint's annual Ridiculously Early Xmas Party. The show takes place December 5 at Vancouver's Astoria venue, and also features performances from Monomyth, Renny Wilson, Energy Slime and more. Fun fact: that checkerboard dance floor in the music video is actually that of the Astoria!
