"Jupiter”

BY Cam LindsayPublished May 1, 2006

No, they’re not from France, but their music is a dead ringer for that house sound Daft Punk wrought in the early ’90s. Instead, Jens Moelle and Ismail Tuefekci call Hamburg, Germany home. Tearing it up this past New Year’s in Montreal, the duo have already seduced Tiga, Soulwax, Cut Copy and even Daft Punk into giving them remix work. "Jupiter” proves they’ve also got the touch when it comes to their own music, building a damaging climax into a release that is what dance floor dreams are made of. (www.myspace.com/maisonkitsune)
