After more than a decade, Los Angeles combo Deap Vally are calling it quits. The duo of Lindsey Troy and Julie Edwards will embark on a final tour ahead of dissolving the band — including a lone Canadian date in Vancouver — and are also releasing a re-recorded version of their debut album, 2013's Sisitronix.

"Sistrionix is just classic Deap Vally. It's so pure and raw," Troy shared in a press release. "It really encapsulates an era — an era of dank, yeasty backstage rooms across the UK, of the endorphin rush of that first wave of success, of youthful drunken, wild nights, of the worldly adventures and the newness of it all."

Edwards added, "We're just going to go to play as many places as we can and say farewell to everyone. Though the band is playing live for the last time, the door is open to us to collaborate. Now we're all about re-establishing a workflow and connection around our friendship, after all we've shared together along the way."

Deap Vally released their sophomore album, Femejism, in 2016, their would-be final album, Marriage, in 2021, and teamed up with the Flaming Lips for Deap Lips in 2020.

They'll kick off their final tour, which will see them perform Sisitronix in its entirety, on November 10 in San Diego before playing Vancouver's Wise Hall with LA Witch on November 18. The remainder of the farewell tour will take place in the US, save for what is currently slated as the pair's final show together: a set at Mexico City's Foro Indie Rocks! festival on April 18 of next year.
