Robotic Empire has assembled a brand new Nevermind covers record, but that's not the only salute to Nirvana that will be coming our way this Record Store Day: Winnipeg punk unit Comeback Kid are releasing their Rain City Sessions +1 10-inch, which features a version of Nevermind track "Territorial Pissings."
The band put a bit of a hardcore spin on it, with crunchy tones that are punk rather than grunge and a little extra throat-tearing gravel on the unhinged screaming. That being said, the arrangement is nearly identical to the original, and Comeback Kid have clearly done their research.
Listen to the premiere below.
Rain City Sessions +1 will arrive on vinyl tomorrow (April 18) and digitally on April 21.
