CJ Wiley has returned! The Toronto-based artist is back with their first song since 2022 in “No One Like U,” a breezy slice of shimmery pop rock co-written by Charlotte Cornfield, who also appears on backing vocals.

“This song is about the nostalgia of teenage years,” Wiley said in a statement. “Playful friendships, the expansiveness of queer love and how romance can show up in platonic relationships, going through ups and downs with friends just as you would with lovers."

“Sometimes we don’t see eye to eye / And I guess that’s okay  / We reach the same conclusion but just in different ways / If I don’t know what to say / Just know I love you anyway,” Wiley sings over a wave of bright, summery riffs.

Produced by Boy Golden in Winnipeg, “No One Like U” is the singer-songwriter's first new music since 2022's "Running Backwards.”
