The follow-up to 2021's 'Phoenix' arrives in August

Last month, Charlotte Cardin announced her mysteriously titled 99 Nights Tour — today, the mystery's been solved, as Cardin has shared the news of her sophomore album 99 Nights, arriving August 25 via Cult Nation / Atlantic Records

Alongside the album announcement, she's also shared the title track, a chugging slice of pop rock that finds Cardin asking, "Is there something I can do? / To make you touch me / The way you used to?"

99 Nights is the follow-up to her 2021 debut Phoenix — there's no tracklist available quite yet, but keep an eye out. Earlier this year, Cardin released the singles "Looping" and "Confetti."

May's "Looping" featured production from Mr Hudson, Felix Joseph and Jason Brando, sampling Barbra Streisand's "The Way We Were."

Cardin said of the track: "I thought I was writing about Mr Hudson's dog who sees life in black and white. Jay was under the impression we were writing about my obsessive thought patterns. Felix was randomly sampling Barbra Streisand's 'The Way We Were.' And somehow all of this made sense. Or did it? Fuck, I'm looping again."

Cardin's 99 Nights Tour will be kicking off August 30. Check out "99 Nights" below.
