Charlotte Cardin has mapped out an extensive headlining international tour she's dubbed the 99 Nights Tour. The Montreal singer-songwriter has also announced that she'll be dropping a new single called "Looping" this Friday (May 12).

UPDATE (8/14, 10:17 a.m. ET): Cardin has extended her tour itinerary with an additional four Ontario dates scheduled for next February, which you can find in bold below. Tickets go on sale this Friday (August 18) at 10 a.m. local.

The 40-date tour commences on August 31 with a performance in Trois-Rivières, QC, followed shortly after by a double-header in Quebec City on September 7 and 8. From there, Cardin will head overseas, performing across Europe and the UK for the remainder of the month.

In October, she'll return to North America, performing a full run of shows stateside ahead of returning to Canada's West Coast in November. There, she'll work her way from Vancouver to Victoria, Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatoon and Winnipeg, heading back across the pond for a brief trek around France in January. The tour concludes with a pair of shows at Laval's Place Bell on February 9 and 10, 2024.

Tickets go on sale starting Friday, May 12, at 10 a.m. local time.

Having dropped new single "Confetti" last month, Cardin has now teamed up with Mr Hudson, Felix Joseph and Jason Brando to record "Looping." It samples "The Way We Were" by Barbara Streisand. As per a release, both of the artist's new songs "arrive amidst a mysterious 99 night countdown teased by Cardin on social media, due to complete on June 9." Intriguing!

Cardin says of the forthcoming track: "I thought I was writing about Mr Hudson's dog who sees life in black and white. Jay was under the impression we were writing about my obsessive thought patterns. Felix was randomly sampling Barbara Streisand's 'The Way We Were.' And somehow all of this made sense. Or did it? Fuck, I'm looping again."
