Last year, British Columbia's Pemberton Music Festival made its debut, and having previously confirmed that it would be returning for another year in 2015, the event has now detailed the lineup of its sophomore addition.
The fest runs from July 16 to 19 in Pemberton, BC, a couple of hours down the highway from Vancouver. Artists who will be appearing include Kendrick Lamar, the Black Keys, J. Cole, Weezer, M.I.A., Full Flex Express (with Jack Ü, Zeds Dead, Tycho, A$AP Ferg, Hundred Waters), Kid Cudi, Missy Elliott, Hozier, Jane's Addiction, Passion Pit, Courtney Barnett, Billy Talent, the Decemberists, Sam Roberts Band, the War on Drugs, Earl Sweatshirt, Father John Misty, Chvrches, Run the Jewels, Dan Mangan + Blacksmith, Tobias Jesso Jr., Real Estate, Ryan Hemsworth, Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros, Tiësto, July Talk, RL Grime, De La Soul, Chet Faker, Banks, PartyNextDoor, Bassnectar, Logic, the String Cheese Incident, Portugal. The Man, Chromeo, Dada Life, Kali Uchis and more.
There's also an impressive comedy lineup with Tim & Eric, Cheech & Chong, Reggie Watts, Eric Andre and Tig Notaro.
"We might be announcing our lineup on April Fool's Day, but we aren't joking around," said A.J. Niland of promoter HUKA Entertainment. "The lineup is exceptionally deep and each and every day will be full of surprises and special moments to match the magic of our beautiful Pemberton Valley festival site. It's always a bit of a battle as a small indie promoter to get the acts you want, but we worked extra hard this year to make sure we're bringing the best to BC."
Advance weekend general admission tickets go on sale on Friday (April 3) and cost $279. (Early bird passes have already been on sale.) Buyers must also get a camping or shuttle pass for $89, or a limited Go Green pass for $29.
