Guelph, ON-based singer-songwriter Annie Sumi releases her sophomore album In the Unknown on October 10, but Exclaim! is giving you the opportunity to hear it in its entirety right now.
The 14-song offering comprises contemporary folk tunes that push storytelling to the forefront. Tales "both real and imagined" are set to Sumi's enchanting instrumental compositions of strings, piano and gentle percussion.
"For two years I've been story-catching, travelling across the country listening to peoples' stories about life and loss, love and laughter," Sumi said in a statement. "In the Unknown is a voicing of these little treasures."
