Alexisonfire have announced a live album. LIVE Born & Raised 2022, St Catharines ON will be released digitally on June 27 through Dine Alone Records, with a vinyl pressing to follow on July 8.
The album is a compilation of 17 songs captured over two nights at the band's inaugural Born & Raised Festival in their hometown of St. Catharines.
As a preview of the album, they have shared a live version of "Little Girls Pointing and Laughing." Notably, the album also includes the first-ever live performance of "Jubella," from the band's 2002 debut.
The band's screamer George Pettit said in a statement, "St. Catharines was a perfect breeding ground for young independent bands. There was no shortage of venues where you could play or promote a show. So in the early 2000s, Alexisonfire learned a lot of what we needed to know coming up in St. Catharines. Coming back and playing a massive festival in Montebello Park was not only fun but served as an opportunity to give something back to the city that taught us how to be a band."
The album is available to pre-order here. A yellow/green splatter pressing will be available exclusively in person at this year's Born & Raised Festival on July 5 and 6.
