After being announced back in May, Disney+ has finally shared the trailer for its Muppets Halloween special, Muppets Haunted Mansion. The film arrives on October 8 on the streaming platform, and today, you can watch its star-studded trailer.
The concept — Gonzo and friends spend the night in the titular mansion, hauntings and hijinks ensue — is well-trodden territory, but the addition of the Muppets usually manages to kick even the stalest of tropes up a few notches.
Will Arnett, Yvette Nicole Brown, Darren Criss and Taraji P. Henson will appear in the flesh alongside the Muppets, plus guest appearances from Chrissy Metz, Alfonso Ribeiro, the late Ed Asner, Jeannie Mai, Danny Trejo, Sasheer Zamata, Craig Robinson, Skai Jackson, Pat Sajak, and John Stamos, among others.
The movie will also feature three brand new original songs, "Rest in Peace," "Life Hereafter," and "Tie the Knot Tango," plus a cover of King Harvest's 1972 classic, "Dancing in the Moonlight."
