The Wonder Years was one of the most important television series of its time, and not only because it may have helped to launch Marilyn Manson's career. Thankfully, its perfect mix of comedy and aching nostalgia is coming back via a new reboot.
The new edition of the series is being executive produced by Empire creator Lee Daniels and will now focus on a Black family. The show, which will once again air on ABC, was rebooted by The Big Bang Theory's Saladin Patterson. Neal Marlens, who co-created the original show, is on board for the series as is former star Fred Savage, who will executive produce and direct some episodes.
