The Batman has found its Riddler — Paul Dano.
The casting announcement was made this afternoon for Matt Reeves's anticipated film. It also comes in the wake of the news that Jonah Hill had turned down the role of the Penguin.
Our last Riddler came courtesy of Jim Carrey, who took on the role for Batman Forever in 1995.
In The Batman, Dano joins Robert Pattinson as Batman and Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman.
Filming is expected to begin later this year or in early 2020. The Batman will arrive in theatres on June 25, 2021.
