Elisabeth Moss will soon be donning her red cape and white bonnet once again for the upcoming second season of The Handmaid's Tale, but she's also confirmed an upcoming role in Alex Ross Perry's next film.

Moss will produce and star in Her Smell, playing a punk rock frontwoman named Becky Something, who struggles with addiction and recapturing creative success.

Perry has written the script and will also direct the picture.

Moss and Perry previously worked together on Queen of Earth (2015) and Listen Up Philip (2014).

The forthcoming film collaboration also lists Matthew Perniciaro and Michael Sherman of Bow and Arrow, Adam Piotrowicz and Perry as producers; Endeavor Content is currently representing the sale of the film.

"With Her Smell, Alex has crafted another fantastic piece filled with memorable characters," Perniciaro said in a statement. "The film represents his continued evolution as one of our most important emerging cinematic voices. We are so excited to see this story about powerful, talented, beautifully flawed yet heroically unapologetic women come to life."
