Do you like scary movies? If you're a Scream fan, patiently awaiting the fifth instalment of the franchise, Airbnb and David Arquette have the perfect thing to tide you over before the film's 2022 release.

The Scream house — the one where Stu Macher (Matthew Lillard) and Billy Loomis (Skeet Ulrich) close out the original movie — is officially up for rent in October, and Arquette (playing his iconic role of Dewey Riley) will be serving as host.

The Tomales, CA home — located just over 100 km north of San Francisco — is "largely preserved from the original film's production 25 years ago, down to the knife marks on the bedroom door, the 90s microwave in the kitchen, and more."

Arquette wrote in the listing: "As the local sheriff, it's my duty to be your host to keep everything under control for your stay at the Scream house. What could possibly go wrong? In honour of Scream's 25th anniversary and the upcoming 2022 film, face your fears and stay the night where Ghostface's terrors began."

Along with Arquette's guidance, the house also comes with its own phone that links you directly to Ghostface, a movie marathon of all four Scream movies on VHS, "classic '90s snacks" including Jiffy Pop, ice cream and pizza, plus a DVD bundle of Scream 1 through 4, Woodsboro High gear, posters and more.

The house is available for up to four guests on October 27, October 29 and October 31. Booking opens at 1 p.m. E.T. on October 12. Proceeds from the booking will go to Ween Dream, which provides free Halloween costumes to children in need.

Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett's fifth iteration of the Scream film franchise is due in theatres on January 14, 2022. Arquette will reprise his iconic role alongside Neve Campbell who will return as Sydney Prescott and Courteney Cox (playing Gale Weathers). Campbell, Arquette and Cox have starred in all four instalments since the late Wes Craven's first Scream film hit theatres in the late '90s.
