Winterruption YEG will return to Edmonton from January 25 to 29, and the festival has just announced its 2023 lineup of music, comedy, drag, podcasts, wrestling and more, taking place across multiple venues, indoor and out.
Leading the 2023 edition's musical lineup are Fucked Up, A. Savage (of Parquet Courts), Holy Fuck, Tempers, Wax, Hannah Georgas, Mauvey, Hawksley Workman, Pierre Kwenders, Motherhood, Joe & the Shitboys, Sgt. Papers, Jasmyn, Mattmac, Fartbarf, the Garrys, Zoon, Status/Non-Status, Stripmall and more.
Comedy offerings include performances by Nick Thune, Natasha Lyn, Myles and Girl Brain, as well as RuPaul's Drag Race star Kornbread "The Snack" Jete.
Festival wristbands are on sale now for $49 plus fees, while individual tickets go on sale this Thursday, November 17, at 10 a.m. local time on Winterruption YEG's website.
"The western winter festivals have worked for over a year to bring this diverse and exciting lineup to the Prairies," said festival producer Brent Oliver. "I think this is our best lineup to date, and we have even more to announce soon."
