Bob Odenkirk has thanked fans, friends and family for their care and concern following his hospitalization earlier this week after collapsing on the set of Better Call Saul.
Odenkirk shared this thanks on Twitter today following confirmation from friends and family that he was in stable condition following his June 28 collapse.
"Thank you. To my family and friends who have surrounded me this week. And for the outpouring of love from everyone who expressed concern and care for me. It's overwhelming. But I feel the love and it means so much," the actor wrote.
Odenkirk revealed that he collapsed as a result of "a small heart attack," assuring followers he would be okay "thanks to Rosa Estrada and the doctors who knew how to fix the blockage without surgery."
"I'm going to take a beat to recover but I'll be back soon," he concluded.
Odenkirk had been filming Better Call Saul in New Mexico, and was rushed to hospital following his collapse afer crew members called an ambulance. The Breaking Bad spinoff's sixth and final season is expected to air in 2022.
Odenkirk recently starred in the action movie Nobody, and also made an appearance in the new season of I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson.
