You Can't Unsee This Cursed Mashup of Radiohead and Red Hot Chili Peppers

"Can't Stop" has got the deepfake treatment

You'll never see Radiohead in quite the same way after this cursed Red Hot Chili Peppers mashup. A deepfake prankster has remade a portion of RHCP's "Can't Stop" video so that it stars the members of Radiohead, and the sights are truly something to behold.

The "Can't Stop" video, which came out in 2003, features all sorts of wacky shenanigans like Anthony Kiedis getting built into a brick wall, John Frusciante doppelgängers singing harmonies inside of trash cans, and Flea gyrating for the camera. The mashup features all those same things — except now Thom Yorke is the one who's buff, tattooed and shirtless, and Jonny Greenwood is in those garbage cans.

The video was made by Reddit user u/ChickenEnthusiast. It's only 11 seconds long, but that's quite long enough to be unsettling. Check it out below.

As hilariously ill-fitting as this mashup of arty English rockers and funky California jokesters might seem, the pairing actually makes some sense. After all, Thom Yorke and Flea played together in the supergroup Atoms for Peace, and Yorke also cited John Frusciante's guitar playing as the inspiration of the Radiohead song "Reckoner."
