AFI members Davey Havok and Jade Puget have started a new straightedge hardcore band called XTRMST. With their self-titled album due out on November 17 on Dim Mak Records, they have shared a video for the track "Conformist."
The DJay Brawner-directed clip for this scream-filled, heavy-riff-injected scorcher offers a very disturbing allegory about conformity. It shows a gang of weapons-wielding automatons in red spandex suits assaulting a lone deviant in a white suit. It isn't long before the individual becomes one of the violent throng.
