Two years removed from 2014's Snakes & Ladders, grime vet Wiley has announced plans for an 11th studio LP this year. According the MC, the fittingly titled Godfather will see release this September.
Taking to Twitter this morning (March 17), he described the forthcoming record as a "16 track bonanza" that would be preceded by three singles, while also revealing that he "got good features and producers on this album too. Ones that make total sense."
One artist that could potentially appear on Godfather is rising grime star Stormzy, who announced that "the legend returns" after reading the news. He was then promptly thanked by Wiley for "putting in the work."
Godfather will arrive on September 2. Read through Wiley's Twitter announcements below.
