Jan Schoenbrun's new film features Fred Durst and Snail Mail's Lindsey Jordan

As we learned back in 2022, Jane Schoenbrun’s follow-up to 2021’s We’re All Going To The World’s Fair has a stacked cast (and an even more stacked soundtrack), and today we get our first taste of the film with a new trailer.

I Saw the TV Glow premiered at Sundance last month, and it’ll hit theatres on May 3. The trailer looks bonkers, and I’m gonna suggest you just watch it rather than have me try and explain it. Both Fred Durst and Snail Mail’s Lindsey Jordan have roles in the movie, and you can catch some shots of Jordan in the trailer.

Schoenbrun once again enlisted Alex G to provide the score, but the movie will also feature new original music by the Weather Station, Sloppy Jane (featuring Phoebe Bridgers), Caroline Polachek, Snail Mail, King Woman, yeule, Florist, Bartees Strange, Drab Majesty, Frances Quinlan, Jay Som, L’Rain, Maria BC, Proper and Sadurn.

That’s a wild crew of people, and today’s trailer is soundtracked by yeule’s cover of Broken Social Scene’s absolute classic “Anthems for a Seventeen Year-Old Girl," which they'd previously debuted live alongside Sasami and Snail Mail.
