Usher has been announced as the performer for the 2024 Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show. Super Bowl LVIII takes place on February 11 at Paradise, NV's Allegiant Stadium.

"This is the most grand stage to ever play on," Usher told Zane Lowe. "Those 13 minutes mean everything. It's been on my bucket list for a long time. I've been asked many a times, 'What are the benchmarks or what are the things that matter most to you?' It's obviously performing, but being able to perform on that stage because so many amazing performers have graced it and did an amazing job. Of course. the obsession of that starts, but man, the excitement of this moment and being able to savour this moment. You remember the first time you heard your record on the radio. You remember the first time you ever heard your voice on a format, or radio, right? This is like that for me."

Usher has spent much of 2023 doing a Las Vegas residency. He will also do a Paris residency this fall, followed by another stint in Vegas.

Rihanna was the Halftime Show performer at the 2023 Super Bowl.
