In front of a sold-out room, Uncut played a solid set and appeared unfazed by the oppressive heat. With vocals coated with heavy reverb and guitars loaded with digital delay, the group bulldozed through songs from their debut, Those Who Were Hung Hang Here. Anchored by pulsating bass and drums, Uncut delivered a hectic version of "Understanding the New Violence” that conveyed why the group has become such a fan favourite in its brief career.
