Tim Hecker has composed the score to Infinity Pool, a new sci-fi horror from director Brandon Cronenberg due to premiere next month.

Infinity Pool, which you can watch a trailer for below, follows couple James (Alexander Skarsgård) and Em (Cleopatra Coleman) during their stay at an isolated island resort. Things really go south upon meeting "seductive and mysterious" guide Gabi (Mia Goth), who is said to lead the two to "violence, hedonism, and untold horror."

Infinity Pool will premiere at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival ahead of receiving a theatrical release on January 27.

Hecker's work for Infinity Pool follows his score for last year's The North Water, director-writer Andrew Haigh's limited series based on the 2016 novel by Ian McGuire.

Earlier this month (December 8), the artist shared on Twitter that he is preparing to back up the "NeuMusik truck" to begin the New Year, teasing an "early 2023 album and score also some dates."

The new album would follow 2019's Anoyo, which was recorded at the same time as 2018's Konoyo. Earlier this year, some Hecker production appeared in a box set from Arca.
