In support of April 2020 quadruple album 44, a sprawling box set of four 11-track albums, the Joel Plaskett Emergency are hitting the road with Mo Kenney for a Canadian tour this fall.
The run kicks off in Campbell River, BC, on September 7, before winding its way through Victoria, Vancouver, Vernon, Salmon Arm, Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Regina, Winnipeg, Port Hope, Kingston, Montreal and London. Plaskett and co. will have their grand finale at Toronto's Massey Hall on October 1.
"When my quadruple album, 44, was released in April 2020 I was ready to hit the road but the world had other ideas," Plaskett shared in a statement.
"I started The Window Inn on Patreon and, with the support of subscribers, started documenting musical collaborations with friends at the studio every couple of months. It's been great fun with much musical experimentation and variety, and after a year of sessions there is an album's worth of music," he said of the forthcoming The Window Inn Sessions, set to receive a full release on August 26. Get a sneak peek below with Plaskett and Kenney's collaboration "True Patriot Love."
The singer-songwriter added: "With the 44 & More tour with the Emergency and Mo Kenney finally happening this September it seemed like a great time to share the music with everyone."
Tickets are on sale now via the artist's website.
