"From the height of our aspirations to the depths of our struggles, we talk about it all on this record… in a way that celebrates the life that we share"

In 2021, the Offspring returned with Let the Bad Times Roll — their first new album in nine years, which landed a coveted spot on Exclaim!'s Worst Album Covers list that year. In a massive swing for a two-album streak, today they've announced the follow-up, previewed by lead single "Make It All Right."

SUPERCHARGED is due October 11 via Concord Records. It was recorded with producer Bob Rock between Maui, Vancouver and the band's home studio in Huntington Beach.

"We wanted this record to have pure energy — from the start to the finish! That's why we called it SUPERCHARGED," frontman Dexter Holland explained in a press release. "From the height of our aspirations to the depths of our struggles, we talk about it all on this record… in a way that celebrates the life that we share and where we are now."

Of the single — which features additional vocals from Canadian voice actor Rebecca Shoichet — he added, "'Make It All Right' is a great example of this because it talks about the people in our lives who make us feel strong when we are feeling low — our partners in crime who make us feel all right."

It's also worth noting that one of the top YouTube comments on the song remarks that it "sounds like something they'd put in an American Pie movie," and that probably gives you a better gist of it than anything I could come up with. Give "Make It All Right" a listen below, where you'll also find the album tracklist.
