It's been roughly one year since Status/Non-Status released their Exclaim! Best of 2022 album Surely Travel. Today, the collective have revealed the music video for the LP's title track.
Like the rest of the album, the music video for "Surely Travel" is introspective and heartfelt; the video compiles family photos and videos, as well as photos taken by the group throughout the past year while touring.
"In some ways, it is a diary or a scrapbook that has weathered over the passage of time. These films have aged as well as our bodies from all this time on the road," said songwriter Adam Sturgeon in a press release.
The bandleader continued, "'Surely Travel' is a heartfelt and nostalgic visual trip that serves this song and the feelings we leave behind in transit, the emotional baggage we carry along with us, and the hope and optimism we seek to find with every new destination we reach."
