Sled Island Music and Arts Festival organizers have announced the first wave of artists slated for their 2024 edition, which is set to take over downtown Calgary from June 19 to 23.
The initial lineup, as curated by New York hardcore vets Show Me the Body — who will take the stage themselves at the fest — is headlined by Mick Jenkins and Cherry Glazerr and will also feature Tomb Mold (whose 2023 album scored a rare Exclaim! perfect 10), Kari Faux, Planet Giza, W.I.T.C.H., Laurel Halo, Forest Swords, Wombo, Soul Glo, Sarah Davachi and more.
Along with Soul Glo, Show Me the Body also selected WiFiGawd, LUCY, LustSickPuppy and NGHTCRWLR.
Sled Island organizers will round out their complete 2024 lineup in the coming months, as they prepare to reveal over 150 additional performers, including bands and comics, as well as visual arts and conference programming.
Passes are available now at Sled Island's official website, where you can also find the full first wave of artists as we await further details. Single-show tickets will go on sale February 9.
