Sleater-Kinney Cover the B-52s' "Rock Lobster" with Fred Armisen

Sleater-Kinney are closing out 2015 the way they began it — taking their excellent comeback record No Cities to Love out on tour, and they brought out a special guest at last night's (December 13) show in New York.

The crowd at Terminal 5 was treated to an ambitious live cover of the B-52s' "Rock Lobster." The original is equal parts ridiculous and amazing, and Sleater-Kinney did it justice with some help from Fred Armisen.

Carrie Brownstein's Portlandia co-star channelled frontman Fred Schneider by donning a bright pink retro blazer and prancing about the stage, cowbell in hand. Corinne Tucker provides the female foil to Armisen on vocals, acing the outrageously acrobatic number.
