After squashing their longtime beef with Sum 41, Quebec pop-punks Simple Plan are keeping the party going by announcing a new album. Harder Than It Looks is set for release on May 6.

Said the band in a statement:

We made a classic, quintessential Simple Plan record that our fans will absolutely love and it was amazing to go back to our roots and unapologetically embrace what has made this band special to so many people: fun, catchy, honest and emotional songs that will make you feel less alone, put a smile on your face and give you hope.

Newly released single "Congratulations" delivers on that promise, with chugging guitars, peppy harmonies and earworms that will be stuck in your head all day.

Harder Than It Looks also includes previously released singles "The Antidote" and the Deryck Whibley-featuring "Ruin My Life."

After cancelling their Let the Bad Times Roll Canadian tour with the Offspring earlier this year, Simple Plan are playing the US on the Blame Canada tour alongside fellow Canadian pop-punk greats and new BFFs Sum 41. There's still no news on Canadian tour dates.
