Saturn Blue Shares New Single "Deep End"

It's the follow-up to last year's "Lust"

Winnipeg-raised, Toronto-based songwriter — and former New FaveSaturn Blue has shared a new single called "Deep End."

The follow-up to last year's comeback one-off "Lust," the new track is another dusk-hued piece of nervy art pop, carried by tightly wound guitar, snapping drums and a silky R&B melody.

"Following my first single, 'Lust,' 'Deep End' is more an ode to what can happen after lust, so to speak — hesitations towards love," Saturn Blue's Muhammad Mneina said in a statement. He continued:

The recording process was pretty swift in terms of the original idea; the chorus came to me while first making the song in September of 2023, but it went through dozens of versions before it finally reached its final form, which I completed at some point in December. Throughout September to December, I fell in and out of love with it, but I'm happy to let it fly now, be something for someone else — which is... a struggle I detail throughout the song.
