Sam Smith "Fast Car" (Tracy Chapman cover)

Sam Smith is set to embark on a North American tour next week, but before crossing the Atlantic, the soul-pop crooner stopped by the BBC's Live Lounge to deliver a cover of Tracy Chapman's "Fast Car."

As with everything he does, Smith totally breaks out the feels on this one. The track gets a total revamp, with Smith's vocals adding a sense of gloomy urgency to the '90s classic.
