Toronto's PUP have been picking up steam since the fall release of their self-titled debut, but the band are now temporarily taking the heat off of their raw originals to showcase a cover of late garage rock god Jay Reatard's "My Shadow."
The song plays pretty similar to the Blood Visions original, with wiry guitars and a Ritalin-poppin' rhythm section straight juicing the tune beneath a fuzzed-out bed of vocals. If you're hankering for a kind of new twist on a Reatard classic, the driving cover should do the trick.
