After chronicling their Early Years in a massive 27-disc box set back in 2016, Pink Floyd are now set to give their Later Years a similarly sprawling treatment.

The iconic outfit will release Pink Floyd: The Later Years on November 29 via Sony, collecting material from 1987 to the present over five CDs, five DVDs and six Blu-ray discs.

That period saw the release of studio albums A Momentary Lapse of ReasonThe Division Bell and The Endless River, in addition to live albums Delicate Sound of Thunder and Pulse.

For the collection, A Momentary Lapse of Reason was remixed and updated by Andy Jackson and the band's David Gilmour, and is presented in 5.1 surround sound for the first time. Jackson and Gilmour "restored the creative balance between the three Pink Floyd members" by returning some of Richard Wright's keyboard parts and recording new drum tracks with Nick Mason.

The remaining four CDs feature a remixed Delicate Sound of Thunder (across two discs), the previously unreleased 1990 Knebworth concert and a disc of live recordings, plus six previously unreleased studio tracks from 1994.

The set's Blu-ray discs feature restored and remixed Delicate Sound of Thunder and Pulse concert films, surround sound audio mixes of The Division Bell and A Momentary Lapse of Reason, films of the band's 1989 Venice concert and aforementioned Knebworth performance, and further unreleased live films, music videos, screen films and documentaries. The visual content included on the Blu-ray discs also makes up the five included DVDs.

A pair of exclusive 7-inch singles are also included in the package, featuring the band's live recording of "Arnold Layne" from 2007's Syd Barrett tribute concert and a live version of "Lost for Words" recorded during rehearsals for Pulse in 1994.

The box set edition will feature a 60-page hardback photo book, replica tour programs, a lyric book, stickers and more. The Later Years will also be released as a 2xLP and single-CD "highlights" package, each featuring a 24-page booklet containing previously unseen and rare photos.

All editions are now available for pre-order.

Gilmour recently auctioned off 120 of his guitars, netting nearly $30 million for charity. Former Floyd member Roger Waters is gearing up to release a new concert film.
