Throughout 2017 and 2018, Roger Waters took his solo work and the songs of Pink Floyd around the world on his "Us + Them Tour." Now, the lengthy live run is being commemorated with a new concert film.
Simply titled Us + Them, the film is set to be screened in theatres worldwide on October 2 and 6. Waters co-directed the film alongside Sean Evans, whom he also worked with on his 2014 concert film Roger Waters: The Wall.
Us + Them was shot in Amsterdam on the European leg of Waters' tour and is said to feature songs from his 2017 solo LP Is This the Life We Really Want?, in addition to Pink Floyd catalogue staples The Dark Side of the Moon, The Wall, Animals and Wish You Were Here.
A synopsis promises that the film will "[inspire] with its powerful music and message of human rights, liberty and love." Exclaim! called Waters' "Us + Them tour" stop in Ottawa in October of 2017 "an exquisite assault on the senses."
Tickets for screenings go on sale July 17, with more details available through Us + Them's official website.
