Flamboyantly adorned with glitter, platinum hair and an antique military jacket, London’s Patrick Wolf played to a room of screaming girls, gays, Asians and reporters at the Cabaret Just Pour Rire. The ridiculously multi-talented singer, violinist and pianist book-ended his set with two of the most memorable songs from his latest album, The Magic Position: the moody, gorgeously melodic "Overture” and the joyous orchestral title track, for which he re-emerged shirtless, showing off his unicorn chest tattoo and gangly frame. A true entertainer and pop musician who’s classically trained, electronically inclined and freakishly tall is a rare thing indeed.
