Toronto's NXNE is returning to action next month, and organizers have now shared the preliminary lineup of artists set to play this year's edition.
Running from June 14 to 19, NXNE's 2022 edition will bring local and international talent to over 20 different music venues around Toronto. As festival founder and president Michael Hollett shared in a statement, "We want to make it very easy for people to come back to live music and experience stage-hopping like festivals used to be."
The partial list of artists taking part in NXNE 2022 includes Lexxicon, Omega Mighty, Erez Zobary, DESIIRE, Fjord Mustang, I, the Mountain, Vintage Boring, Jhyve, Osé, Brooklyn Doran and many others — some of whom you may know from Exclaim!'s New Faves features or Class Of concert series.

Two different tiers of NXNE 2022 tickets are now on sale. A Full Festival Pass granting week-long admission to any venue, any show, any time (subject to capacity restrictions) can be had for $20, while a single admission ticket allowing entry to one venue on any one night can be purchased for $10.

"Given the pummelling the live music scene has taken over the last two years, we wanted to remove financial barriers to attending NXNE to best connect artists with audiences," Hollett adds. "You can see live music all week for the price of a movie ticket and popcorn."
