Noel Gallagher recently put out a new High Flying Birds album — and, in the opinion of the 1975's Matty Healy, it was all a promotional stunt to highlight a series of interviews. In that case, the former Oasis bloke's latest project, a chat with Rolling Stone, just dropped!

Unsurprisingly, Gallagher is continuing the mard with his fellow Brits. And again, to zero shock and awe, he's now bringing Taylor Swift into it. If you've been living in a cave on the outskirts of civilization, you may or may not know that Swift and Healy were rumoured to have been a romantic item for about a month. Then, last week, they reportedly broke up.

A true scholar of correlation and causation, Gallagher is convinced that he came between the couple. Definitely not the widespread criticism directed at the pop star, fresh off the dissolution of her six-year relationship with actor Joe Alwyn, for dating a dirtbag.

"Taylor has obviously said, 'Now look, keep your fucking nose out of that Gallagher business, or we are fucking through,'" Gallagher told journalist Brian Hiatt. "And [Healy] couldn't help it."

As aforementioned, he and the 1975 frontman have been in an unrelated fight since Healy said that Oasis need to "grow up" and get back together earlier this year. Somehow the news of this comment didn't get back to Gallagher until a few months later — about two weeks ago, amid the Swift x Healy Wattpad fanfic nightmare — and he proceeded to then call Healy a "slack-jawed fuckwit."

Now that you're up to speed, Gallagher continued, "And Swifty, God bless her, said, 'I can't deal with this shit because once he's done with you, he is gonna come after me and I'm not fucking having it. So, I'm sorry, Matty, you gotta go.'" The musician added, "Serves him right!"

Gallagher "coming after" Swift would be yet another point of contention between him and his "coward" of a brother, who sided with the pop star when Damon Albarn falsely claimed that she doesn't write her own songs because co-writing "doesn't count." As Liam astutely pointed out, "all them fucking Gorillaz albums are co-writes."
