Being no stranger to the Western film genre, Neil Young is set to take his appreciation one step further by actually starring in one. The new Western film is titled Paradox, the latest directoral effort from actor Daryl Hannah (Blade Runner, Kill Bill).
Paradox is set to premiere at the SXSW Film Festival, and its synopsis reads as follows:
Time is fluid in this far-fetched, whimsical western tale of music and love. Somewhere in the future past, The Man In the Black Hat hides out between heists at an old stagecoach stop with Jail Time, the Particle Kid, and an odd band of outlaws. Mining the detritus of past civilizations, they wait… for the Silver Eagle, for the womenfolk, and for the full moon's magic to give rise to the music and make the spirits fly.
Beyond starring Young, the film from Young's current romantic partner also features music from Neil Young + Promise of the Real. The movie also features Willie Nelson, as well as his sons Lukas and Micah (who also play in Promise of the Real).
Other cast members include Corey McCormick, Anthony LoGerfo, Tato Melgar, Charris Ford and Dulcie Clarkson Ford. You can learn more about the film over here. That's a still from the film up above.
