Nap Eyes and NNAMDÏ Roll the Dice on New Song "Blood River"

Watch a video for the 'Dungeons & Dragons'-inspired single

Both Nap Eyes and NNAMDÏ have released full-length albums this year, and they have also found time to work in games of Dungeons & Dragons, as evidenced by a new collaborative single.

"Blood River" arrives alongside a video cut together by Michael Bigham, bookended by clips of a D&D livestream event the collaborators took part in earlier this year. As Nap Eyes expressed to us earlier this year in an interview, being a nerd isn't so bad after all.

Shots of darkened dungeons, raging rapids and ancient scripture are cut together as frontman Nigel Chapman sings, "In this life, know that nothing will last / The future keeps flowing deep from the heart of the past / And it's healthy sometimes to chain yourself to mast / 'Cause you've got to roll it when the die's been cast."

Nap Eyes released Snapshot of a Beginner in March, and shared two B-sides from the record in August. NNAMDÏ, meanwhile, has shared albums BRAT and KRAZY KARL this year.
